At just 17, Brady Harris already plays baseball with the fire, focus, and freedom of someone who was born to be on the field. But his journey didn’t start with a coach or a family legacy. It started with a kid, a TV, and a dream.
“I used to watch Quick Pitch every morning before school,” Brady says. “Nobody in my family played baseball. It was just me. Three years old, telling my mom I wanted to play.”
Now, Brady is a standout high school player with a relentless drive and a deep love for the game—and it shows. His energy is contagious, his approach is intentional, and his faith and friendships are at the heart of everything he does.
From hitting Wiffle balls off his pantry door to fielding grounders in the backyard, Brady learned early how to teach himself the game. But what set him apart wasn’t just talent—it was heart.
“I eat, breathe, and sleep baseball,” he says. “I’ve never thought about anything else. I just love the game.”
His passion grew alongside his faith. Every game, Brady and his teammate Aiden head to the warning track, draw an ‘X,’ and pray. “I’ve never gone out there without doing that,” he shares. “That time reminds me why I play and who I’m playing for.”
While Brady started out alone in his love for the sport, it didn’t stay that way. He found his baseball family early, most notably in Coach Jonathan Murphy, who has coached him for over seven years and now leads both his high school and travel ball teams.
“Coach Murphy changed my path,” Brady says. “He introduced me to so many people I’m grateful to know now. Our team—it’s more than a roster. It’s a brotherhood.”
That camaraderie is what Brady says makes the hard moments—slumps, losses, long seasons—worth it. “There’s nothing better than winning with your boys,” he says. “And nothing worse than losing with them.”
Through all the innings and all the growth, one thing that’s stayed consistent is Brady’s choice of gear, especially his batting gloves.
“Franklin has been a staple in baseball forever. I grew up watching guys wear them,” Brady explains. “It’s always been a dream to work with them. Little me would be proud.”
But Franklin isn’t just about legacy. For Brady, it’s about performance. “I feel dangerous when I’ve got them on,” he says. “The comfort, the fit... and while they look good, they also provide the confidence to focus on hitting, not on my gear.”
He customizes his CFX Pro gloves for every team and moment: home and away gloves for both high school and summer teams, and bold personal pairs in colors like baby blue, navy, and pink. “It’s a way to show my personality,” he says. “Baseball’s more fun when you make it your own.”
To young players chasing their dreams, Brady’s advice is simple: “Make it fun. Play with joy. Build relationships. Play for your teammates. And remember why you started.”
And when it comes to gear?
“If you’re standing in the aisle trying to pick a glove, go with Franklin,” he says. “It’s about confidence. You can’t hit your best if you’re thinking about your hands. Franklin fits and lets me focus on doing damage.”
With college and professional opportunities ahead, Brady stays grounded.
“God has a plan,” he says. “Whether it’s college or the pros, I’m just grateful for the chance. I’ve worked hard, but I also know it’s all in His hands.”
Until then, he’ll keep playing the game the only way he knows how: with passion, purpose, and a pair of gloves that make him feel unstoppable.
“If you want to know who I am,” Brady says, “just watch the highlights.”
