Athletes who can excel in two different sports are a rare breed. How can one person possess so much raw talent and ability? New York Mets designated hitter J.D. Martinez may not be on quite the same tier as the other names on this list yet, but with a little practice, we think he has what it takes to make a name for himself in the pickleball world. Well improvement takes time J.D., and you really can’t rush the process. So, for now, maybe hold onto the day job. That seems to be working out pretty well in our humble opinion. In the meantime, we have all the pickleball equipment you need to start working on your game. Who knows maybe we’ll see you out on the court next to Mookie someday! Until then, I guess we’ll always have baseball.
