Franklin Pickleball goes to the Superbowl Experience

By Franklin Sports

The stars were out and dinking last weekend in Las Vegas as Franklin Sports brought together pro athletes, rappers, creators, and players from all over the country to our 2nd annual Super Bowl Pickleball Event! A star-studded roster of former and current NFL® pros alongside special guests Flavor Flav and the Cavinder Twins, Hailey and Hanna, hit the Franklin pickleball courts at Super Bowl weekend to test drive our all-new FS Tour Series Pickleball Paddles and the number one ball the X-40 outdoor pickleball. Hosted by pickleball creator Tara Bernstein, this weekend-long extravaganza gave NFL® football fans a chance to see some of their gridiron favorites get out on the court to strut their pickleball stuff! When the highest-level athletes start using the highest-level paddles, the results speak for themselves:

Basketball vs Football

The weekend started with some basketball versus football action as Dallas Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson and Buffalo Bills TE Dalton Kincaid faced off against college basketball stars Hailey and Hanna Cavinder. The ladies took home the match for team basketball, but we have a feeling the football fellas might be looking for redemption next year…

Time to Play

To kick off Friday’s action, rapper and hip-hop icon Flavor Flav got the crowd going with his very own brand of high-energy pickleball skills that only he could master!

Battle of the Backfield

In the Battle of the Backfield, New Orleans Saints RB Jamaal Williams and Los Angeles Rams RB Kyren Williams faced off on the pickleball court to prove who would be RB1. Teaming up with Hall of Fame RB Marshall Faulk, Jamaal’s pickleball prowess proved too much for Kyren and Flavor Flav to handle.

Speed Up

BEWARE OF THE CHEETAH! You never know where you might spot Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill, but he made a surprise special appearance at the Franklin pickleball courts. Safe to say everyone flipped out, especially Tyreek!

Doubles Anyone?

To win in the NFL®, you need to compete for all four quarters. To win at Franklin’s Super Bowl Pickleball Event, you just need four competitive quarterbacks. Matt Barkley, Drew Bledsoe, Nick Foles, and Dan Orlovsky wowed the crowd with a dazzling pickleball display worthy of joining the FS Tour!

Side Out

Former teammates turned into pickleball competitors when Miami Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle took on Washington Commanders RB Brian Robinson. Of course, there is nothing wrong with a little healthy competition to remind everyone that we’re not in ‘Bama anymore!

Over a jam-packed three days in the lead-up to Super Bowl 58, we saw a ton of elite pickleball play from athletes and personalities across the sporting world. We are so glad that we were invited by the NFL® to bring together the football and pickleball communities to celebrate Pickleball at the world's largest sporting event.

If you’re looking to bring your pickleball game to the next level and start playing like the pros, then grab yourself an FS Tour Series pickleball paddle today. And if you’re an NFL super-fan, check out our line of licensed NFL® Team Pickleball Paddles. We can't wait to see everyone out on the court.
